# Pre-requisites

## System requirements and account setup

You can connect to Allspice via a web browser on any computer. We recommend the latest updated Chrome Web browser for the fastest performance.

You can create an account and get started with Allspice Automations in minutes: [https://hub.allspice.io/register](https://hub.allspice.io/register)

Allspice Automations is automatically enabled for your Allspice Organization. Automations cannot be run from personal repos.

## Install Git

Please follow our full instructions on how to [install Git](/v1/docs/install-git-client-git-gui-git-cli) for your system.

You will need to [install a Git client](https://learn.allspice.io/v1/docs/en/install-git-client-git-gui-git-cli) to use Git. We recommend GitHub Desktop or TortoiseGit for beginners.
