Getting started with AllSpice

Next

Welcome to AllSpice

AllSpice is a hardware design review platform built for engineers who want faster, clearer feedback on schematics and PCB layouts, without extra process or setup.

Whether you are evaluating AllSpice on your own or rolling it out to a team, this documentation is designed to help you get value quickly.

How to use this documentation

Most users start by uploading a real design and reviewing it in the browser.

You do not need to install tools, configure Git, or set up repositories to begin. You can get to a first design review in minutes using AllSpice’s Quick Review experience.

If you are new to AllSpice, we recommend following the Golden Path below.

The Golden Path

The Golden Path is the fastest way to understand how AllSpice fits into your workflow.

In your first hour, you will:

  • Upload a hardware design

  • View schematics and PCB layouts in your browser

  • Leave and respond to review comments

  • Share a live design review with others

This is the foundation for everything else in the platform.

Start with Quick Reqview

Quick Review: Upload Your Designs for Review

This guide walks you through uploading your first design using Quick Review. It is the best place to start if you want to see AllSpice in action right away.

No Git. No ECAD plugins. No setup required.

What comes next

After your first review, you may want to explore:

  • AI assisted design reviews with DRCY

  • Automated checks using Actions

  • Full repositories and integrations for ongoing development

These topics are covered later in the documentation and build on the same design you uploaded during Quick Review.
