Allspice Desktop lets you clone, create, commit, push, and pull Allspice projects from your computer. The app runs on Windows.
Beta: Allspice Desktop is in beta and available only to select organizations, as of October 13, 2026. Features, supported systems and these instructions may change between releases, and some features may be incomplete. If your organization doesn't see the Download Allspice Desktop button in Allspice Hub, it isn't part of the beta yet. Contact your Allspice account team to learn more. We welcome your feedback.

Update the app
The app doesn't update itself yet. To update it, run the newer installer. The new version replaces the installed version, and keeps your settings and your sign-in.
To check your version, look at the bottom of the app window. It shows text such as 0.1.0.
Uninstall the app
- Open Windows Settings.
- Select Apps, then select Installed apps.
- Find Allspice Desktop, select …, then select Uninstall.
Uninstalling keeps your settings and your sign-in. It doesn't delete your project folders.
